“Solved???” I say as I’m on day 3 going in circles trying to optimize some Blackwell kernel code.
I actually think the below is a nicely put and useful cognitive razor, which is why I’m retweeting it. But I’m feeling salty at the moment, because Claude and Codex are both agreeing that a test harness is correct when it definitely can’t be. And it took me way, way too long to catch that. The “it’s hard because the context is spread out” still applies to a lot of code areas.
