It was fun seeing everyone at the (approximately) monthly Voice AI Meetup last night. Video link in the 🧵.
One conversation I have pretty often these days is, "how do you keep up with everything happening in voice AI?"

In the past ~5 weeks, there have been model releases relevant to realtime/audio/video AI engineers from: Alibaba, AWS, Canopy Labs, Deepgram, Gladia, Groq, Google, Krisp, Meta, OpenAI, PlayAI, Sesame, Tavus, Zyphra.
And I may have missed a few. So much stuff happening so fast! It really is hard to keep up. So I did a quick overview last night of my four indispensable sources of new AI info.
➡️ @altryne and the @thursdai_pod crew do a weekly roundup of *everything* going on, including keeping up with the huge diversity of interesting open source stuff that happens every week.
➡️ @swyx publishes a podcast, in-depth posts, and a daily roundup called AINews at @latentspacepod.
➡️ @bnicholehopkins, founder of @covaldev, publishes a regular This Week in Conversational AI roundup here and on LI.
➡️ @davitb, founder of @krispHQ, publishes This Week in Voice AI on LI and email.
@LumaHQ Thank you to @jeffreyhuber and the @trychroma crew for hosting again in their fantastic office.
