Congratulations to the team at @mercor_ai on this nice milestone. Great execution on a huge vision.
When I tell people that “talking to an AI” is going to be a big part of our daily lives, this is the kind of thing I’m thinking of.
Practicing for interviews and doing interview rounds with Mercor’s AI is a better process for both candidates and companies than traditional recruiter filtering and initial interview loops. Lower stress, better evaluations, candidates do fewer repetitive things and at the same time get real feedback.
When we raised @trydaily’s seed round in 2016, 90% of the VCs we talked to said something like: I don’t think people want to do video calls. I don’t. I prefer the phone.
If you’re skeptical today that “talking to an AI” is useful, it’s worth looking at what Mercor is doing today, and thinking about how this generalizes as models continue to improve and our understanding about how to build these applications gets better.
