The wrinkle lately is how much gravity Python has for people with substantial AI experience.

We see a big split in our startup/scaleup customer base right now.

1. the all-JavaScript startup teams come from "full stack"/generalist backgrounds.
2. the teams that build their backend code in Python come from AI/ML backgrounds.

These two different cohorts have very different assumptions and expectations about tooling and SDKs!

My observation over the past few months is that full stack engineers who think that it's going to be easy to build AI-centric workflows in JavaScript are badly understimating how much value there is in all the Python AI tooling.

I hear more and more startups/scaleups being very happy with the choice to use the same language on the backend, frontend (and sometimes across native mobile apps):

TypeScript.

(Node backend, React & React Native frontend)

Not sure any other language offers this capability.
